Step 1:
Originality
I believe the shots that we took about the explorer and voyage seems common. So, for us to created more interesting, we would like to give a close up shots using 360 degrees camera, which shown about the dramatic effects and to show her face expression. This is to create the connection between the audience and the advertisement.
Elaboration
To expand our story, we would like to add the dramatic into her running. She ran very fast like a cheetah, so that she will get the snack which is located on the table before anyone else take it. Moreover, we want to add a challenge that she face while she running towards the table, such as a gap between the road, which require her to jump over it.
Step 2:
To target the audience, we use foreigner people because vegemite is from Australia and it’s popular for how good it is if we use it well. Also, we mention foreigner people because a lot of foreigner, haven’t try it and probably never hear it as well.
The range of the age that we targeted is around the teenagers and adult, specifically, 15-50 years old. The income is probably more than $1000 because its normally consume by the Australian people. The common occupation is probably from the students and workers which they able to buy a snack. The product related behaviour is being enjoy on consuming the snacks. The characteristic is unhealthy because snacking will make someone get inflammation.
Step 3:
Snacking and be an aussie with vegemite.
Step 4:
Beginning : a student that feeling hungry in the middle of the class and looking desperate on the vending machine because she can’t afford it.
Middle: On the way back to the class, pass through a park and hoping for a free food. Suddenly, she saw something near the tree and point at it. She walk closedly to the tree and found a piece of a jam, which called vegemite. However, she doesn’t know it. What is vegemite? and she wondered what to eat with this. She wondering for a long time and looking for another food. Suddenly, while she was searching for another food, she saw one pack of snack. She not sure about what is that, but quickly she run for it and hope that none of the people who pass by that area will take it. Thank goodness… she got it before anyone else take it. Then, she realize that the food on the table is a “Arnotts Shapes Vegemite and Cheese”. She realize that she has the vegemite jam and took it out from her pocket and combine this 2 food and it become something new.
Ending: She eat it, feeling full and back to the class.
Step 5: The Australian advertisement doesn’t aim for the australian culture, but also people who come from different culture.
