Journalism is one of a form of communication and an action of collecting and presenting news and information to the public.
It can be published via print, broadcast, photography as well as digital.

This is not surprising to know that the newspaper has been in existence since 1665, when the Oxford Gazette became the first print newspaper business to be published in public.

Throughout the 1890s, Yellow Journalist was popular, but it did not last long as it ended shortly after the turn of the 20th century. It is a concept which describes the exaggerated and sensational type of news in a newspaper with the objectivity of attracting readers and growing circulation.
Newspaper became popular in the 20th century when several other newspaper companies were founded, such as The Daily Mail, The Daily Express, The Independent and other newspaper companies.
Followed by printing newspaper, people were able to listen news by radio in early 20th century and about 1945, the appearance of television began to change the role of the radio.
However, with the exist of broadcast television, radio still widely being used to deliver news till the early of 21st century as it faced more competitive pressure from digital satellite and internet-based-audio.

In these day, the rise of the Internet had a huge influence on the field of journalism, many people able to access news on online and due to this Journalism faces a crisis worldwide.
Nevertheless, with the advent of technology, there is a Freedom of the Press which allows journalist to express their opinion and share it to the public through online.
