Pantene a hair cared product such as shampoo and conditioner. The ad is a collaboration between Pantene and Anggun, an Indonesian Singer which also known as strong and independent woman. Moreover, the ad tells us that women can do everything, including a married women and the title of the ad is “#WhoSaysWeCant”.
Originality: Anggun sang a special song for this ad which may not commonly seen in the hair cared company to promote their product.
Flexibility: I don’t feel this ad has flexibility as it only focused on Women. In addition the company also targeting a women to use their product.
Elaboration: I would say the company did a pretty good job as the song presented by Anggun to all powerful women throughout Indonesia, who managed to live beyond expectations which gave us a new kind of feeling about advertisement.
Synthesis: As the Pantene is a hair cared company which means that they wants to promote their product by using someone who has a nice and beautiful hair, it is pretty surprising to see a women wearing a Hijab in this ad. However they did a good job in combining this new idea and it shows that every women can use this product.
Artistic Value: The most powerful creativity is that the song itself. The song that Anggun sang is really powerful song that can motivate other womens which is also attract many audience.
